What got you started in acting? When did you know that you know that you wanted to be an actor?

Acting is always something I’ve wanted to do. I was a dancer for quite a few years and always loved performing arts. Due to the quarantine I was able to become more in depth in acting since all the dance studios were closed. I was always scared I would be too nervous and shy. But I got the chance to step out of my comfort zone.

What actor or filmmaker inspires you?

I think that Jenna Fischer is a brilliant comedic actress and after reading her book I felt reassured and inspired by her drive. Timothée Chalamet is a talented dramatic actor. The way he immerses himself in every character he plays is very inspiring. If I could have the range and talent of Jenna Fischer and Timothée Chalamet I would have probably won 10 oscars by now.

Any current projects?

I just started auditioning and I’ve done about 4 self tapes so far and got a callback for one of them which I’m waiting on now and another which audition which I am waiting to hear back.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years I see myself as an experienced actress working in big projects.

What do you think the challenges teens today are facing in the industry with COVID-19?

Some challenges that teens like me are facing due to Covid-19, are not being able to have live auditions where a casting agent can really see who I am. Other obstacles are fewer job offers and filming delays.

What kinds of projects do you hope to be a part of in your career? What would be a dream role?

My dream production company is A24. I have always loved every single one of their movies, specifically The Florida Project and Mid90s. I love how they make the acting and script feel so real. Being in a movie of theirs would be a dream come true! A dream role of mine would either be something like Annabeth in Percy Jackson, or I would love to play Lux Lisbon if there was a remake of The Virgin Suicides. I also admire Sofia Coppola and working on any of her projects would be a dream come true.
